Physical Rehabilitation Session

Thoughtful massage support with the documentation accident cases require.

Accident recovery is different from a general wellness massage. It requires a careful starting assessment, consistent records, progress tracking, and appropriate communication with authorized parties.

Who These Services Are For

Arm Brace Adjustment

Accident-Recovery Services are intended for clients seeking massage therapy in connection with:

  • A motor-vehicle collision

  • An attorney-represented injury matter

  • An insurance claim

  • Another accident requiring formal treatment records

Please contact us before scheduling. Accident-related appointments cannot be booked as general wellness massage when documentation or third-party payment is expected.

Accident-Recovery Initial Assessment

45 minutes | $95

Every new accident-recovery client begins with an assessment before ongoing massage is scheduled.

The appointment may include:

  • Review of the accident and relevant health history

  • Discussion of current symptoms and changes since the accident

  • Baseline discomfort ratings

  • Review of functional changes involving sleep, sitting, standing, walking, driving, work, household tasks, or recreation

  • Relevant observations within massage-therapy scope

  • Precautions, positioning needs, and treatment considerations

  • Review of attorney, claim, referral, and payment information

  • An initial plan for massage care and progress tracking

Massage therapy does not diagnose accident injuries. Medical evaluation or clearance may be required before treatment begins.

  • SOAP notes or comparable treatment documentation

  • Progress and functional-change tracking

  • Attendance and billing records

  • Authorized case coordination when appropriate

The 90-minute option may be appropriate when several body regions require attention or when the case involves more complex, long-standing patterns. Appointment length is determined by appropriateness—not solely by preference.

Records and Communication

With your written authorization, Empty Cup Wellness may communicate relevant information to selected attorneys, insurance representatives, or treating healthcare providers.

Available records may include intake information, attendance, treatment notes, progress summaries, and billing records. Communication remains limited to massage-therapy scope and the authorization you provide.

Payment Arrangements

Possible arrangements may include:

  • Private payment

  • Attorney letter of protection or lien arrangement approved in advance

  • Approved third-party payment arrangement

  • Another written case-specific agreement

Acceptance of an attorney-represented or third-party case is not automatic.
Required agreements and case information must be reviewed before treatment proceeds. The client remains responsible according to the signed financial agreement.

When Medical Care Comes First

Seek prompt medical evaluation for new, severe, unexplained, or worsening symptoms. Massage is not emergency care and does not replace diagnosis, imaging, rehabilitation, or treatment from qualified healthcare professionals.

For chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, loss of consciousness, severe headache, new weakness or numbness, uncontrolled bleeding, or another possible emergency,
call 911 or seek immediate care.
