I am new to Velvet Pelle. What should I schedule?
Begin with the $75 Introductory Facial if you want a customized facial, professional skin analysis, and help understanding what your skin needs.
Begin with a consultation if your primary concern is acne, scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation, significant texture changes, or if you are considering a chemical peel, microneedling, or PRP.
What is the difference between the Introductory Facial and Signature Renewal Facial?
The Introductory Facial is designed for first-time Velvet Pelle clients. It includes a comprehensive skin analysis and time to discuss future treatment and home-care recommendations.
The Signature Renewal Facial is a customized maintenance service for returning clients whose needs and goals have already been established.
Can Jennifer help with acne?
Jennifer offers facials, professional exfoliation, LED therapy, skin-care education, and home-care recommendations that may support acne-prone or congested skin.
Severe, persistent, painful, or sudden acne may require evaluation by a dermatologist or medical provider.
Can Velvet Pelle remove acne scars or other scars?
Microneedling, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and other appropriate services may improve the appearance of certain scars, but no treatment can guarantee complete removal.
Jennifer will evaluate the area and discuss realistic options. Some scars may require treatment from a dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or another medical specialist.
Does Velvet Pelle offer treatment for stretch marks?
Yes. Microneedling is currently offered for appropriate abdominal and gluteal stretch marks.
Results depend on factors such as the age, depth, color, location, and extent of the stretch marks, along with the number of treatments completed. Consultation and screening are required.
What is the difference between dermaplaning and microdermabrasion?
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to remove surface buildup and fine vellus hair. It can leave the skin feeling especially smooth and may improve makeup application.
Microdermabrasion uses a specialized device to exfoliate surface buildup. It may be recommended for dullness, congestion, or uneven surface texture.
Jennifer will help determine which option is more appropriate for your skin.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin to support its natural renewal response. It may help improve the appearance of scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and certain pigmentation concerns.
A consultation and health screening are required.
What is PRP microneedling?
PRP microneedling combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood.
Because PRP involves a blood draw and advanced clinical procedures, additional screening, consent, and aftercare requirements apply.
Will I need more than one treatment?
Some clients notice refreshed or smoother-looking skin after one facial. Concerns such as acne, scarring, stretch marks,
pigmentation, or advanced texture changes commonly require a planned series and consistent home care.
Jennifer will explain the recommended number and spacing of appointments before you decide how to proceed.
Is there downtime?
Traditional facials generally have little or no downtime. Chemical peels, microneedling, and PRP treatments may cause temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, peeling, or other expected responses.
Jennifer will explain what to expect and provide preparation and aftercare instructions.
Are advanced treatments suitable for everyone?
No. Certain services may not be appropriate during pregnancy, while taking particular medications, with some medical or skin conditions, following recent procedures, or after significant sun exposure.
Please provide a complete health history. Medical clearance may be required.
Does Velvet Pelle offer waxing?
Yes. Facial waxing includes brow, lip and chin, and sideburn services. Body waxing includes underarm, bikini, and Brazilian waxing.
Let Jennifer know if you use retinoids, exfoliating acids, acne medication, or have recently received a peel or resurfacing treatment before scheduling facial waxing.
Does Velvet Pelle offer B12 injections?
Yes. B12 injections are available following the appropriate health screening and consent process.
B12 injections are not intended to diagnose or independently treat unexplained fatigue. Speak with your healthcare provider if you are experiencing new or persistent symptoms.
Are IV services currently available?
Not yet. IV hydration, Myers’ Cocktail IV therapy, and additional therapeutic IV options are planned additions.
Scheduling will open only after the required medical oversight, protocols, screening procedures, and safety systems are established.
How do I know which service to select?
